Are you SCARED to throw hard? #backhand #discgolf #form #technique #followthrough

You should never stop the motion, no matter what. Let the arm go, let the body go. Only thing that needs to be rigid is your brace leg, so that your arm and the body can swing on and against it.

Air bounce, nose up, loss of distance... these are just some of the effects of a severe elbow dip. That is usually a symptom of poor internal rotation in the shoulder, which you then compensate by dropping the elbow, and having done that, you compensate again by pushing the disc up... creating a nose up. While a miracle cure, one that fixes everything, doesn't exist, briefcasing might help with that, because your arm can be more relaxed. Grip the disc like you're holding a briefcase and swing the elbow to the target. Nothing else needs to be changed: a relaxed arm wants to swing with the least resistance, which means hinges (elbow and wrist) first, so that they open naturally and aligned. The disc will follow nose down. #discgolf #form #technique #backhand
